Description
Swiss Diamond’s EDGE Collection offers high-quality cookware that is built for low-maintenance cooking. The Stir-Fry pan is great for integrating meat and vegetables together into one pan. The pan’s high sides prevent food from falling out as your stir. The induction line features Swiss Diamond’s patented nonstick surface. The surface contains small diamond crystals to ensure both durability, and easy cleaning. The nonstick surface also eliminates the need for oil, allowing your food to have a clean and pure taste. The handle provides a secure grip, allowing you to make swift movements in a hurry. The pan’s handle is securely attached without rivets to prevent bacteria build-ups. Overall, this is the perfect tool for making one-pot meals. Swiss Diamond has designed this pan for nothing but superior performance in your kitchen.
About Swiss Diamond
Founded in 1974, Swiss Diamond International Sarl is a private company located in the Swiss Alps. Using the demand for more efficient and improved non-stick cookware as inspiration, Swiss Diamond engineered an innovative type of non-stick coating that utilizes real diamond crystals–which is the hardest material known–and they patented the technology. In 2006, the company sought to improve their revolutionary technology and spent four years researching and testing. In 2010, Swiss Diamond released their advanced HD coating line, which features a 30% overhaul. All current products are manufactured using the new HD coating.
HD Induction Line
If you own an induction heat source, be sure to choose the HD Induction line. This line uses the same world-famous, patented Swiss Diamond technology as the standard line with minor improvements for induction. It has magnetic properties that are designed for remarkable efficacy on induction cooking surfaces. The advanced technology assures that your cookware is energy efficient and quiet. That “buzzing” sound that some aluminum-based cookware makes on induction cook tops is non-existent. The line features the patented diamond crystal-infused coating. This technology came to exist because: diamonds are extremely durable, giving the coating more resistance; diamonds function better as a heat conductor since it is four times more conductive than copper and creates a perfectly balanced heat distribution; and diamonds have natural non-stick properties.
Care
- Do not use sharp utensils or abrasive cleaners, as this may damage the coating.
- Use only low to medium-high heat settings. Never use the highest 25% of heat settings on your stove top.
- For example, if your stove has heat settings from 1 to 10, never use a heat setting higher than 7.5.
- Clean your pan thoroughly after each use with warm soapy water.
- No oil is needed with a Swiss Diamond pan! If you choose to use butter or oil for flavor, use on the proper heat setting.
- Oils heated above their smoke point will break down and deposit carbon on the cooking surface.
- Do not store acidic or high-sugar foods in your cookware, as this may damage the coating.
